Founded in the year 2000, JLT specialises in heavy-duty land transportation services designed for large enterprises. Our primary objective has always revolved around the development and enhancement of Sudan’s land transport sector. Beginning with a humble fleet of just five lorries, we have since expanded our collection to encompass over 200 lorries from some of the world’s most renowned brands, including MAN, DAF, HOWO, and Scania. We diligently maintain and upgrade our vehicles to ensure top-notch performance.
Our steadfast commitment to addressing the unique needs of our clients has paved the way for us to establish a solid reputation rooted in attributes such as speed, trustworthiness, and integrity. JLT operates as a sister company to Saba, both under the same ownership, although each possesses distinct management teams.
Notably, during the global economic and financial crisis of 2007-2008, the transport sector experienced a significant downturn due to low freight rates and high operational costs, compounded by the scarcity and soaring prices of spare parts. As a result, the land transport sector faced a major setback, characterised by an oversupply and dwindling demand. It was during this challenging period that JLT earned the trust and confidence of customers, as well as numerous government agencies and major institutions. They continued to choose us for their transportation needs, with notable clients including the Ministry of Oil and Petroleum for the transportation of oil pipelines, the Ministry of Urban Planning, as well as various factories and companies for the shipment of raw materials.
